Subscriber Response to the February Issue

Here are a few of the comments we are receiving about the February issue. We'd love to hear from you too! Click the comments link at the bottom of this, or any other news item on this page and add your thoughts. If you'd like to send a private note then email us. dpn@dpnews.com

I'm sitting here listening to the CD! It is delightful... what a treat on such a cold & snowy winter's day! The magazine is so professional with high quality print, paper, and photos. You and your husband are to be commended. Is this CD only due to your first edition or will others be available at latter dates?
There's been some confusion about this. The CD is for all subscribers, and our plan is to include one with each issue.

Hi Dan and Angie:

It's very cold here now, and ice and snow are falling. I'm stuck in the house...probably until Thursday. But my heart is warm. Yesterday late afternoon I decided to go to Berryville and take something to the post office. What a smart move! The winter issue of DPN had arrived. I glanced through it in the post office (couldn't wait until I got home) and have since read it. You've done such a beautiful job. In addition to looking so lovely, it is warm and, of course, informative. Many talents reside inside you.

And I'm touched by your thoughts about my work.

Thank you, precious friends.

Maddie

Thank you, thank you, thank you !! I was VERY EXCITED to get the Feb issue today. First, I was happy to get my issue in an envelope. Traveling cross-country as it does, and being that I keep all my issues, it arrived in excellent shape. Then when I pulled it out and saw the beautiful color cover I whooped in surprise. Imagine how elated I was to see that the color format extends throughout the whole magazine. Even the pages seem of some better quality of paper.
Finally, the CD fell out. YIPPEE! What fun this will be. Am I to expect this kind of excitement with every issue of DPN??!! I have been a subscriber for some years now and I always thought that your magazine was of fine quality. That is one reason why I save every issue. Also the fact that it makes excellent reference material.
Keep up the wonderful work, it is well worth the price of a subscription. Thanks again for making my day!

Congratulations on the fine "first" issue. All associated with it should be proud of the effort. The CD is very good; a nice cross section of things, and thoughtfully put together. It is very nice to see the "historical" piece from Christie Burns. That cover will be a hard one to follow!! I found folks in the photos and others in the list I couldn't fine in the photos. I guess the magnifying glass is going to come out! You might want to make that cover available as a large poster in some way. - HMMM, interesting idea

the first issue is awesome, it has the polish and look of a professional magazine & the cd is a real bonus. We hit the Jackpot with this one. I hope Maddie is enjoying her retirement we will miss her, but she left her baby in good hands.

DPN arrived just ten days after I took out my subscription which impressed me with the quality of your organisation before I even opened the packet. The new format is very good, the CD most enjoyable - in fact, at UK prices, four CDs a year from DPN will be worth more than the cost of subscription! I'd been meaning to subscribe for years - I intend to subscribe for many years to come.
