Great Sampler CD Suggestions
I received the following email this afternoon from Doug in New Jersey.

What a great surprise to open my DPN and find a CD in it. If this is going
to be a regular feature, might I suggest (or
ask for) two things:
1) You may want to consider printing "CD enclosed, do not bend" on the
envelop for us subscribers who receive
DPN in very small PO Boxes
2) It might be nice to have CD jewel case art work ala "Sing Out!". I will
most likely be placing these CDs in my
CD collection. It's difficult to do this and find things quickly if the
disk is still in the sleeve. Mark's done a very
nice job with the artwork in .pdf that is downloadable from the Sing Out
website.

Super idea. It occurs to me that I have a .jpg of the cd face on the web site already. I'll make pdf out of that so it will be available for download, complete with the cut lines.

I love the cd and variety of tunes. I am not familiar with some of the artists, especially for those of us that only play one instrument and not both. I looked all through the journal to find something in the way of line notes - who they are, briefly what they do, and especially where they are located, and with an internet link if we wanted to find more information. Might be nice for future journals - just a short blip on each.
