Artist Profile: Keith Young

Keith Young: Luthier, Musician, and Teacher
by Cathy Drinkwater Better
Eldersburg, Maryland

I'm one of the lucky ones: that is, one who lives close
enough to Keith Young to pick up one of his custom built

made the hour-long drive from Maryland to see Keith in
Annandale, Virginia, a suburb of Washington, DC, about
two years ago.
Keith spent about an hour giving me a private lesson, part
of the package when you pick up your dulcimer in person.

fact, I'd planned to show off a little when I got there - but
I learned more than I could have imagined in that single
hour. (Click here to download the rest of the article)
